Hotel Service Room
“Hotel Service Room” is a portrait of Places Lived in!
This collection is a love letter to the world of hotels, not just as places to stay, but as intimate, cinematic spaces where stories unfold. Through years of travel, I’ve captured moments in some of the most iconic hotels around the globe, drawn by their atmosphere, architecture, and the quiet poetry of rooms in between guests.
From the legendary Château Marmont in Los Angeles to the Morabito Art Villa in Bali, where I photographed in the suite once lived in by Damien Hirst. From New York City’s Waldorf Astoria and the Ritz in Paris, to the sunlit balconies of Hotel Santa Caterina on the Amalfi Coast, and the timeless elegance of Hotel Splendido in Portofino, Cipriani in Venice, and Villa d’Este and Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como.
Hotel Service Room is about presence and absence, comfort and curiosity, a visual diary of moments suspended in time, framed by linen sheets, sea views, soft lighting, and the distinct luxury only a hotel can offer.
Many of the photographs from Hotel Service Room have been selected for inclusion in my “1 of 10” and “1 of 100”collections — a reflection of their exceptional artistic value and rarity. These works carry not just the beauty of the locations, but the essence of time, memory, and the emotion of travel.
